Opening Hours and Emergency Care Changes from 24th March 2025:

We would also like to inform you of some important changes to our opening hours and emergency care procedures, effective from 24th March:

Inpatients:

From 24th March, any inpatients will be cared for at our Saffron Walden practice, which is fully equipped to provide 24/7 care with a dedicated night team ensuring continuous high-quality care for your pets.

Out-of-Hours Emergencies:

If your pet requires emergency care outside of our usual hours, including evenings and weekends, please call Reed Veterinary Surgery as usual. Your call will be transferred to our sister practice in Bury St Edmunds, where a dedicated emergency team will be available and on site 24/7. Please note that costs for out-of-hours emergency care vary depending on when you need to visit. When you contact Bury St Edmunds, they will be able to confirm the charges ahead of your visit.

Opening Hours:

Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM – 6:30 PM
Saturdays: 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM

Outside of these times, please continue to contact Reed Veterinary Surgery. Calls will be forwarded to our Bury St Edmunds practice, where emergency care will be provided.
